Hi, I created an event for 29. April 2023 but in my List its shown in 2022.

After that i opened a new Event with another date in 2023 for verification and test – and it tooks the date from today.

What am i doing wrong? Other events in 2022 go as planned.

    Kind regards
    Sethlein

    Hi @sethlein,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Could you kindly try creating a new event for some date in 2023 and see if the event is created for the correct date or does it automatically overrides 2023 with the current year while it’s being generated.

Also, check if this event has defined year (2023) at the backend and displays incorrect year (2022) at the frontend or does the backend also have 2022 saved? If so, are you able to edit the event and change the year to 2023 and have it stick?

Let me know how it goes.

Hi @masoodak, thanks for your reply.

i tried to create a new event yesterday but the effect was the same.
Also the Event “Hexentanz Festival” is created new and takes place in April 2023.

In Backend it’s shown in 2023, but on the page it’s listet to 2022.
I tried to figure out in what table in the database the dates are stored to check it there but i didn’t find the correct table.

So it is like you said, backend 2023 but on frontpage still 2022.

I tried it with other years also, at the moment you can see a TestVA2024 shown as 2022 but in Backend the Date is set to 2024.

i think it’s only display issue because the dates are ordered by date and the new event 2024 is listet as last. So this works out only the displayed date is wrong.

    Kind regards
    Sethlein

    Hi @sethlein,

Thank you for checking and confirming that the issue is at the frontend only.

It is possible that your site is facing some conflict(s) either with the theme, currently being used on your site, or perhaps one of the plugins, activated on your site, causing this issue. Kindly run quick conflict testing on your site, following the steps mentioned in the link below,

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/

Let me know if the issue remains even when no other plugins are activated and a default theme is being used.

    Hi @masoodak,

i have to apologize. In tried it with twenty twenty theme and my List disapeared. – That gave me the hint, the Widget for the list has to come from another Plugin and i tried them step by step.
The normal calendar by you was shown correctly so i have to contact the Theme Creator because the list widget also was deployed by him – so there is a problem at his deployment.

Thanks for your help, have a nice day,
    Cheers Sethlein
