XML formatting error

    Hey

    I have been trying to add my product feed to Google Merchant, this is the error i get:

    “The product data you submitted in your feed does not meet the product data specification, so your products were not approved. Fix and update your feed to display products to customers. To see all issues, go to Diagnostics.”

    “XML formatting error”

    I have contacted google to attempt to get a more specific reason for the error. They are unable to provide any further informtion and suggest its a Plugin/Feed issue and I should contact the plugin producers for help.

    This is the first time I have ever created a feed, so please forgive me If I have missed something, but it looks fine to me.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Nobby,

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

    When we open your feed URL in our browser and although there are no official XML formatting errors in the feed you did not seem to have used the “Google shopping” channel when creating the feed as it is not in the Google shopping format and as such not being recognized by Google.

    So make sure you use this channel selection when configuring your feed:
