XML-RPC Support

Hi,
I’m involved in the mobile aspect of http://fotonicamente.it and I’m writing to ask if exist some XML-RPC Support (http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/XML-RPC_Support) into wppa+ plugin. If there isn’t I would ask to you if it exists some specific (php)-function to retrieve the user albums information or if it exists some (php)-funcion to perform the post image action.
I would ask where I can find this information and code documentation
I can build a new child-plugin to expose those function as XML-RPC into the security wordpress infrastructure.

I would like to build a Mobile App (like http://android.ww.wp.xz.cn/ ) for fotonicamente and add this app the feature to upload photo.
It may be a first step to expose a interface for mobile app and the XML-RPC is the wp-default protocol to interaction width wp-site.
