    I have an XML sitemap file saved to my computer. I want to add it to my WordPress site without using a plugin. Is there a way to do this?

    edit robots.txt in the root of the site
    and add sitemap directive, so robots.txt will look like this:

    User-agent: *
Crawl-delay: 2
Disallow: /wp-includes/
Disallow: /wp-admin/

Sitemap: http://mysite/sitemap.xml

    I meant how to actually upload the XML sitemap. Figured it out – thanks, though!
