When I try to generate a sitemap xml via AIOSEO, the resulting page shows the following error on line 5:

Notice: Undefined index: host in /var/www/html/public/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/modules/aioseop_sitemap.php on line 1995

For the rest the sitemap code seems correct.

I tried to upload a sitemap minually and then update it from the plugin but it ask me to overwrite or erase the existing file, then creating the usual broken xml sitemap.

For the first, that’s only a notice, not an error, so you can safely ignore it for now. You should also turn off debug mode on a production site. I’ve opened an issue here for us to fix it: https://github.com/semperfiwebdesign/all-in-one-seo-pack/issues/1551

For the second, any foreign sitemap file will cause AIOSEOP to suggest it be deleted or renamed. We recommend not using static sitemaps, and using our dynamic sitemap feature.
