When I submit the XML Sitemaps to Google Search Console, it shows errors and when I drill down is says URL errors. It seems Google wants the complete URL in the sitemap, not just something like /blog/. How do I fix this?

Also, do I submit just the one sitemap: sitemap.xml or the individual sitemaps it lists (post-sitemap.xml, page-sitemap.xml and post-archive-sitemap.xml)?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @gtdriski,

That’s strange; I haven’t seen this issue before. Our sitemap should list complete URLs instead of relative ones. Can you please go to Settings > General and tell me what your site/home URL is? They should be complete URLs; not relative ones.

With regard to your other question, if you submit the root sitemap index (sitemap.xml), then Google will automatically detect the other indexes, as they are listed there, and crawl them.

    Hello,

Thanks for your response. The site URL in Settings>General is https://southernsignsusa.com. So that looks correct.

This is a new client of my. They already had the Website, which I just moved to my hosting. I will be hosting and maintaining the site for them. Also, this is my first time to use AIOSEO as it was already installed

Another thing I noticed, which was odd (but consistent with the sitemaps) has to do with the robots.txt file. On your Robots.txt Editor page, under tools it shows the following lines in the Robots.txt preview:

    Sitemap: https://southernsignsusa.com/sitemap.xml
    Sitemap: https://southernsignsusa.com/sitemap.rss

However, when I open the Robots.txt file, these are relative URLs

I can setup a temporary user account for you, if you would like to look into this further.

    AIOSEO Version is 4.1.9.4

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hey Gary!

If those are correct, the only logical explanation is that another plugin or your theme is changing the home URL. I would recommend that you simply temporarily disable your other plugins, switch to a different theme and then reactivate them one by one to figure out who/what is changing the home URL.
