    Hi,

We’ve been using Yoast SEO for quite a while now. But I was about to check the XML sitemaps but couldn’t find the tab anymore. It used to be under (Yoast) SEO–> XLM sitemaps, but it’s not there anymore.

Is this a bug or where can I find the sitemaps?

The URL to the sitemaps used to be: https://dierencompleet.nl/sitemap_index.xml. But that’s not working either.

    Best regards, met vriendelijke groet,
    Tobias van Krieken

    Hi Tobias,

Ever since the release of Yoast SEO 7.0, there’ve been a lot of changes, with one being menu and settings changes. The XML Sitemaps settings on the SEO sidebar has been modified and renamed and it has been integrated into the Search Appearance settings.

You can read more about this here — https://yoast.com/yoast-seo-7-0

    Hi!

Thanks for clearing that up, I’ve found a lot of the settings.

But when I want to view my sitemaps (as mentioned here: https://yoast.com/show-x-in-search-results/ –> You can find your XML sitemap by going to General >Features > XML Sitemaps > ? (click on the question mark).) I get an error page.

    See here: https://dierencompleet.nl/sitemap_index.xml

What can be the cause of this?

    Hello,

That sounds like a plugin or theme conflict. Can you try and gather as much information for us as possible? Please perform the following:

    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    2. Check for conflicts.
    3. Check for JavaScript errors with your console.

If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a new GitHub issue for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can purchase Yoast SEO Premium and receive our Premium email support and we can help you further.
