Hi @futureskills,
Thanks so much for reaching out about this. We are sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with our plugin.
A blank meta box issue typically occurs due to a JavaScript conflict. So, we’d like you to please perform a conflict check. This will help us narrow down the exact cause and determine what the next steps are while saving you time.
The fastest way to do this is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Nineteen.
Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check without affecting normal visitors to your site.
As we can imagine that you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts.
Can you inform us of the results?
Dear Sir,
1. i already create staging copy
2. deactivate all plugin
3. convert to twenty thirty theme
4. the problem still there as per screen shoot https://ibb.co/y6chtcdaction taken before:
1. migrate the site to another host for testing purpose, the yoast plugin work noramaly
2. call siteground host to check if there some function blocked from their side, they said that no someting block and thousands of site in their server use yoast normallykindly advice what i can do
Hi @futureskills,
Thanks for the additional information about the approach you took to debug the issue.
We would like to continue to investigate this issue and therefore, we expect few more information about your setup. This might help us replicate the issue on our end:
1. Can you confirm you are using WordPress’s latest version?
2. Does your server meets the plugin requirements?
3. With the default theme and non-Yoast plugins disabled, you still noticed blank Yoast SEO metabox. Do you see any JavaScript errors in the browser console?
4. Do you notice any critical issues highlighted in Tools >> Site Health of your WP dashboard? We look forward to hearing from you.

<anonymous> https://www.staging2.xxxxxxxxxxxx.com/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/js/dist/post-edit-1521.js:1Hi,
We want to be sure we understand what has been done.
To clarify you did the following actions:
1. Installed the Healthcheck Plugin and went into troubleshoot mode. This guide explains more: https://yoast.com/help/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts/#plugin.
2. You then made sure in Troubleshoot mode that only Yoast was active AND ALSO a default theme like 2020 or 2019 or 2018 etc.
3. If Yoast was the only plugin active on your site AND you had a default theme, did the issue still happen?
4. If not, did you activate each plugin one at a time and then switch over to the main theme? What happened when you activated each plugin and then switch over to the main theme? Was there a plugin or a theme that triggered the issue?

Hi,
We’d like to try one more thing. If you were to delete the Yoast plugin from your site (doing so will not hurt the SEO of the site and all your data is expected to be saved) and then re-install it does the issue resolve?
Note, that we suggest taking a backup of the site prior to do doing so. Your host provider can help with this.
If the issue still happens, it sounds like a bug. Based on the information you provided, we expect this to be a bug. We’re actively using the bug tracking on our GitHub repository so your best next step would be to create a new issue for our developers at https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/new. You will need an account to create a new issue. If this is your first bug report, please check out: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-write-a-good-bug-report/.
Maybe it is a problem with the firewall?
We had the same problem and couldn’t open and edit the menu.
We use the 7G firewall and after updating to the current version it works.
With the 7G version v1.2 was a conflict after the yoast update.
The 7G version v1.3 works perfectly.
7G FIREWALL v1.3 20200903 @ https://perishablepress.com/7g-firewall/Hi,
We’re not sure if it could be specific to your firewall, but if there were some settings that could have blocked Yoast SEO from loading, then it definitely is a possibility.
When updating to the latest version of your firewall, and then editing a post or page, does the Yoast SEO meta box then fully load as expected? Are there no more JavaScript errors appearing?
We are going ahead and marking this issue as resolved due to inactivity. If you require any further assistance please create a new issue.
