YITH Filtering disappears after selection

Hi there,

Great plugin, however, I am having issues which you can replicate on the url provided.

When selecting a filter – it loads the results fine, but the sidenav is hidden – shows ‘display:none’ in source code..

However, when refreshing the same page – the side filters appear again.

I am using the ‘yith ajax product filter’ widget for all the sidebar widgets.

Please advise on solution – thank you,

Hi I too am having this problem but only in the last couple of days maybe it has to do with the wordpress and woo commerce update? Will there be an update soon which will fix this issue?

Actually i would be sure that it is a bug in YITH Ajax Filter Plugin version 3.10 as I have another site still running YITH Ajax Filter Plugin version 3.09 and the filter still works correctly.

Just restored version 3.09 of the plugin and the site works correctly again, proving that the issue is indeed with the latest version of the plugin. YITH support are currently off work due to the bank holiday but hopefully three wil look into solving this as soon as they return. For now if your site is depending on this plugin for functionality I would suggest reverting back to version 3.09

Hi @keithcreate108 i’ve just checked the latest version on my local environment and have no issue. Could you send me a link where I can see the problem?

I have the same issue, I can’t show you as I have had to roll back to 3.09 until this is resolved.

Thanks Jim, I read it numerous times but this article made no sense to me. I checked the configuration of the tab frontend bt nothing changes between the old version and the new version.

Could you help us out and describe exactly what you did to fix this please as the article does not make it clear what steps need to be taken.

@keithcreate108 Can you try adding following code in the file functions.php of your theme?
add_filter( 'yith_wcan_skip_layered_nav_query', '__return_true' );

@yithemes I have done this now there is a new issue because of this. The new issue is that it doesn’t remove the filters that do not apply to the previous selection. EG. I select Cables and connectors, once I do this it should remove all other filters that do not relate to this selection but it doesn’t.

@yithemes I have installed version 3.11 BUT THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS! Can you please delve into this and come up with a solution for it, this is seriously adversely affecting a number of websites I am running.
