I was checked this issue in depth and is not caused by our leaderboards add-on, is caused by Yoast SEO

WooCommerce has a rest API reports named “leaderboard”, if any plugin registers a post type with the name “leaderboard”, Yoast SEO tries to work with the WooCommerce leaderboard like a post type endpoints

And here is when the issue comes, since the responses from the WooCommerce rest API are not related to the post type leaderboard

You can check that this issue doesn’t comes from our add-on by deactivating it and registering the post type “leaderboard” by yourself (or using the CPT UI plugin)

So is the Yoast SEO team who needs to prevent to work with the WooCommerce leaderboards endpopints when the post type “leaderboard” is registered in the site

    Best regards

  • Hi @thorstenholt,

Thank you for getting back to us and creating a new topic.

Looking at their full response, we would like you to create a bug report for our development team so they investigate this more closely than our support team.

Can you please create a bug report on GitHub so they can check the report? Please include as much related information as you can so they can try to reproduce it and check if the issue can be fixed in an upcoming release. You can find more information on creating a good bug report here: https://yoast.com/help/how-to-write-a-good-bug-report/

You can create a new bug report on this page here: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/new?template=Bug_report.md

    Thank you!

Thank you, Jeroen for the response.

I will raise a bug at GitHub.

I hope that the next release wont take to long as I recognize that the current incompatibility won´t let me edit different areas on my site. 2 mins ago the critical error happened while working on my lms learndash. Sooner this day another critical error showed up in another different area.

So, I have to turn off Yoast SEO to even be able to work on my backend.

    Hello,

Once you create the relevant issue on GitHub, please make sure to also reference this forum topic. We can’t make any assurances that a fix will be included immediately on the next release, but we do know that our developers will be able to take a look at it further and assess it.

We are going ahead and marking this issue as resolved due to inactivity. If you require any further assistance please create a new issue.
