Yoast causing PHP error via class-register-capabilities.php

    We’ve suddenly (since yesterday early morning) been getting the PHP error below:

    [25-Jun-2018 15:02:39 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Interface ‘WPSEO_WordPress_Integration’ not found in [REDACTED PATH]\wp-content\plugins\wordpress-seo\admin\capabilities\class-register-capabilities.php on line 11′

    I’ve deactivated/reactivated the plugin (v 7.6.1; WP version 4.9.6) and copied a fresh copy of the plugin code into the plugins folder but the issue is still there. I don’t want to uninstall the plugin as we have tons of SEO data we don’t want to lose. (Will that happen if I uninstall?)

    Any help would be appreciated!
