Hi @santoshdevi
Would it be possible for you to provide the URL where you are getting this ‘missing field “mainentity” issue so we can check the page source and review the Yoast SEO schema output?
We do know that if you add a Yoast FAQ block to your posts, it should automatically mark up and add all of the necessary structured data for a FAQ rich result – https://developer.yoast.com/features/schema/plugins/yoast-seo/#when-a-page-contains-an-faq-block
This is a URL in which (FAQ – Missing field “MainEntity”) issue is coming up in Google search console.
Issue URL: https://www.meelbijendra.com/msc-nursing-course-fees-admission-salary/
This is not the only URL in which this issue is there, this same issue comes in all the URLs when I add the FAQ to the website.
Hope you understand the issue.

Hi @santoshdevi
For this URL https://www.meelbijendra.com/msc-nursing-course-fees-admission-salary/, could you let us know what you’ve set in the schema settings? Could you attach a screenshot of what you’ve set in the schema tab – https://yoast.com/help/selecting-content-types-in-schema-settings/
We did test it in Google’s Rich Results Tool and we do see the same error of ‘missing field mainentity’ but after reviewing the schema data, it does look like the ‘mainEntityOfPage’ data is outputting in our schema graph.
It looks like you also have other sets of structured data outputting, possibly coming from your theme and other plugins.
Would it be possible for you to check this on a default setup with a default WP theme such as TwentyTwenty and only Yoast SEO v17.1 as the plugin enabled (so no other structured data apart from our plugin is outputting) and see if you are still able to reproduce this error?
“schema tab” option is not visible sir, as you can see in the screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/By1GIVYu47uW.png
And according to me there is no other plugin and wordpress theme (generatepress) which is causing this problem. The plugin that is installed is this (Screenshot):https://pasteboard.co/iayOSbsghcSs.png
