Yoast HS is Undefined

About 2-3 days ago, I logged in to find a red bar at the top of my WordPress editor which said “The “yoast-seo” plugin has encountered an error and cannot be rendered”. The yoast block in editor was blank.

So I tried all the usual things, updating the plugin, clearing the cache and uninstalling and reinstalling. Now the red bar is gone and instead in the yoast box there is a new error saying “hs is undefined”.

All of my updates are set to manual, so there shouldn’t be any conflict with another plugin as none have been updated recently. How can I resolve this issue so I can once again use the yoast plugin?
