YOAST is causing problem

After I have updated my wordpress & yoast plugin I can’t access my pages or posts (I can’t edit them, add new one or remove) it returns ERROR 500
The mydomains.org page isn’t working

mydomain.org is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

Any suggestions how to fix this? If I need to reinstall the plugin would the data from the old plugin will be removed? I have a lot of posts and pages who are optimized with yoasts meta title description…
