Can you tell me the YOAST version and the Security plugin version?
Also, it will be appreciated if you can tell me by steps how can I reproduce the issue.

Hi, Thanks for getting back. Both plugins are up to date. Tried rolling Yoast back to 15.9.2 and still didn’t work. It doesn’t work with at least the latest and previous versions of Cleantalk security, but haven’t tried further back. Can’t see anything specifically in php or wp debug logs. I think it may be one of those which is difficult to reproduce, particularly being windows. I will try establish if there is a version of cleantalk which does work
If it is of any help 2.6.1 appears to work. This will help narrow things down, hopefully
It also works with 2.6.2, so stops working at 2.6.3
