I replied to this page earlier, but my reply was deleted, and the post was locked. It says resolved, but I don’t believe it is because the OP didn’t reply, and it’s a problem I have on my WordPress site.

It is about all pages or posts having a split screen that is annoying and troublesome. I’m not saying it is the plugin, but it only affects Yoast. So a solution would help.

The problem is, on most of my sites, the page continually scrolls down with Yoast at the bottom. However, on some sites that doesn’t happen, and they become a split screens.

There is a divider between the split screen that says “drag to resize.” So you need to drag Yoast up and down, which is not a good experience. I have tried for 48 hours with all settings and still can’t figure it out.

    Here is a screenshot.

  • Hi @nowayhose

In the previous conversation, you mentioned, there is no panel after clicking on preference.

Kindly know that, once you click on preference, you should see a pop up appears and a toggle button for Yoast SEO under advanced section. This toggle button should be enabled. Please check the screenshot attached to this email.

For the “drag to resize”, are you trying to remove the divider?

    Hi,

Thanks for the screenshot, I have Yoast SEO enabled.
Yes, it is the split screen with the divider causing the trouble and highly annoying.
It is the divider that is the problem, is there a way to remove it?

    Hello @nowayhose,

Thanks for reaching out but this isn’t peculiar to Yoast SEO but WordPress. Your sites experiencing this have the latest WordPress. If you deactivate the plugin temporarily, you’ll still have the split screen.

Strange, because it only affects Yoast. Hopefully someone sees this and has a solution for WP. This is what others are seeing and it is highly annoying.
