WordPress checks the content of a page for an [audio] shortcode to enqueue assets to render the audio player, something about having Yoast enabled with the classic editor seems to break this and prevent to assets from loading.

    Hi @wigglypoppins

This is the support forum for “The SEO Framework” plugin, not Yoast SEO.

You can get support for Yoast SEO here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/wordpress-seo/.
Looking at the threads there, you’re not the only one experiencing the issue.

It’s odd for an SEO plugin to affect other plugins’ assets or shortcodes. The SEO Framework does not interfere.

Apologies, you’re right, I’ve search SEO Framework instead of Yoast.

We use SEO Framework for most clients apart from the one with this issue so it’s likely muscle memory and the fact that I’d not woken up properly yet when I posted this, my bad!
