Yoast plugin cause wp-admin/post-new.php constantly refreshing

Hi,
I’ve got problem with Yoast plugin on my WordPress site. I’m using Divi theme (from Elegant Themes). My WordPress and all plugins are up to date.

When Yoast plugin is turned on, it causes constantly refreshing pages:
wp-admin/post-new.php
wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=page
like you can see on the movie with recorded screen (bottom-left corner, address bar):

The result of this is visible in Google Analytics:

The problem appears both in Firefox and Chrome. I didn’t check other browsers. Problem does not occur when I turn off the Yoast plugin, but this is not a good solution 🙂

Hi @sadmint

That is very odd. Can you please confirm if this happens with Yoast SEO 9.7? Also, have you tried switching theme and see if the same behavior happens? You can use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin to switch themes without affecting your live site.

For sure I’m using latest Yoast. To switch theme I need some time.

After switching theme the problem doesn’t appear.
Exactly the same as when turning off Yoast SEO.

But switching the theme nor turning off Yoast is not a good solution for me.
