Yoast SEO Question

Does the SEO that is implemented with Recipe Maker mean there is no reason for me to fill out the Yoast SEO information?

What about tags and categories on the actual post? I see that there is an area that you can write keywords in recipe maker, is that essentially tags?

When I share a link, does the link yield the featured image I set on WP or the image uploaded into recipe maker?
