Oh boy, all these polls and vote. Honestly who cares about these?
The best way to promote a good product is to have one.
And all these blogging stuff polls forget one thing: these are often different markets.
One side is blogging services (TypePad, Blogger and LJ etc.) and blogging applications (MT, WP, Pivot etc.). Most people who already have their own webspace/domain names prefer to run their own applications on their servers instead of using a managed service.
It would be more interesting to see how the current share of WP is with ‘builders’ instead of ‘service users’.
For what purpose is this data being collected ?
If it is for commercial uses, then why not say so ?
Odd….Firefox tells me that I need a Sun Java download from that page, despite the fact that I have a JRE and all other plugins….

Podz, do you have your Java enabled? Most of my sites use some sort of Java application.. Check your preferences to ensure Java is enabled? If you can run someone else Java application, let me know.
I have tested on both Windows and Mac operating systems using Firefox. I have no problems using Java with Firefox. Are you using another OS, Linux perhaps?

You know, polls dont mean squat, seriously. Polls never give an accurate representation of the truth because they are only really targeted towards the people who intend to vote the way the poll creator wants them to vote: ie;

Before I buy things like cars I try to check with consumer guides. I am simply trying to understand the blogging demographic. Who uses what and why? Blogging is very popular today. I think people, especially bloggers are very interested.
