Hi @tillkruess,
I hope you are doing well today!
We always try to give the proper credits as you can see on the line 16 which we have used the code from https://github.com/ericmann/Redis-Object-Cache and added credits accordingly.
There was no indication that it is the older version of https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/redis-cache/, we can update it accordingly if GitHub description is updated, unless there is some other indication about the same that you can share with us.
Thanks in advance and have a good one!
Kind regards,
Zafer
@wpmudevsupport15: You’re wrong and I can prove that you’re using an older version of my https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/redis-cache/ and that your code is not based on
https://github.com/ericmann/Redis-Object-Cache.
Look at line 661 of your code:
https://plugins.trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/browser/hummingbird-performance/trunk/core/object-cache.php#L661
It uses a get_flush_closure() function, which is IDENTICAL with my code:
https://github.com/rhubarbgroup/redis-cache/blob/ee806a495b770f591ee760d16fd4ec77bd16ae69/includes/object-cache.php#L1632-L1644
Now search for the that method in Eric’s code:
https://github.com/ericmann/Redis-Object-Cache/blob/master/object-cache.php
It’s not there.
I’d appreciate it if you’d add the appropriate credit in your free and paid version.
Based on Till Krüss's Redis Object Cache: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/redis-cache/
Hi again @tillkruess,
Thank you for the information.
I have forwarded it to our Hummingbird team as well as our Development team.
They will check and update the credits accordingly.
Kind regards,
Zafer
You’ve release a new version without proper credits.
Hi @tillkruess
The credits will be included in the Hummingbird 3.4 which is the major upcoming update: https://wpmudev.com/roadmap/#hummingbird
Best Regards
