My website has been idle for several months, but I just came back to it and found my embeds not working. I received this error:

Sorry, there was a YouTube API error: The request cannot be completed because you have exceeded your quota.

I discovered that the quota had been set to 0, and sent in the quota/audit form to youTube.

youTube responded that I am out of compliance, with these three violations:

-No reference to YouTube Terms of Service (ToS) in API Client’s ToS.
-No notification in Privacy Policy saying that the API Client uses YouTube API Services.
-No reference/link to Google privacy policy.

Their proposed solution states: API Client must display a link to YouTube’s Terms of Service, reference and link to the Google Privacy Policy, and must also mention a notification in privacy policies saying that the API Client uses YouTube API Services.

This sounds like something that should be built-in to the embedPlus plugin. Is there some setting to fix this?

YouTube has given me a temporary quota increase, but only for 15 days, so I would appreciate a quick response.

    Thanks

    Hi,

It sounds like you simply have to update your site’s own privacy and terms page with the 3 references you listed. This plugin does not create a privacy/terms page on your site or will attempt to insert text into one.
