Zencache and Bad Behavior
-
Not really an issue anymore, as I solved it, but I’d just like to leave some feedback here, after talking with Bad behavior’s plugin author.
I had one reader who tried to comment 2 days after visiting the page (or two days after the cache was generated), and Bad behavior blocks it. That’s because Bad behavior blocks comments if a visitor comments after 2 days or page was generated.
So I’ve changed the expiration date from “7 days” to “1 day”, even though this issue should seldom occur.
I’ve also been recommended not to cache 404 pages (which Zencache does not do by default), “because Bad Behavior enforces RFC compliance, and 404 caching is an RFC violation, this usually results in large number of people being blocked.”
