.zip archive created is invalid

    Hey I updated to back up word press 3.4.0 today and now I can’t back up my website, it’s a small site under 300 MB and every time I create the ZIP archive and download it to my machine I am not able to open the archive file. It always outputs an error stating: The Compressed (zipped) folder is invalid.

    Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, I have tried to do 3 back ups in the last hour and all three are invalid.

    Not the end of the world but very frustrating, I don’t want to switch to another or even a paid plug in because I have had a great experience with yours up until now.

    Have you attempted downloading via FTP to ensure there’s not a glitch within just the download from your admin?

    Yes I have tried that and winzip still gives me the same error
    oddly WinRAR has no problems opening and testing and even extracting the archives.
    Could be a glitch within Windows zip

    Issue seems to be fixed, winzip and winrar now have no problems with archives BackUpWordPress creates, I suspect the 3.4.1 update has something to do with this fix
