Almost forgot …. click here to view our Server Environment (demonstrating ZipArchive is not installed).
This has nothing to do with the SG Optimizer so I am marking it as solved. I will however forward your request to our ops team so they can look into it.

This is not resolved. SiteGround categorically seems to block any ZipArchive code/not load the respective libs.
I am all in favour of keeping things neat but this issue needs to be discussed and fixed, how are we supposed to use SiteGround professionally if we can’t use all of PHP’s features?
Thanks
As already mentioned, this has nothing to do with the SG Optimizer plugin.
@hristo-sg,
At the time we wrote this issue, we felt it was related to SG Optimizer because SG has stated that it makes our website better and faster (front-end and back-end).
And since SG Optimizer included the option to change PHP versions, we felt the dependency merited above report. Further, this issue also triggers a WP Site Health warning which we want to fix as well.
In any case, we issued Ticket Nos. 3395517 and 3473112 on February 20, 2020 asking SG to solve this issue and this was their response (happens often with many other issues):
We can not provide ETA when the module will be included in our PHP 7.4 package. Please note that due to the custom server environment that we are using we can not use the default module and a modified version needs to be created for the package of PHP 7.4 we are using. I would advise you to check regularly if the module is being included or you could contact us again at a later point so we can check this for you.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Of course if you need any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us back at any time.

So, to date, SG has not fixed this issue. It is a shame that SG cannot load the ZipArchive module into PHP 7.4 – in just seconds – to satisfy this topic which appears to be affecting many other SG customers.
Would appreciate if you can contact your developers and ask them to activate this module (or a modified version as you did for PHP 7.3.X).
Seven (7) months have passed and nothing has been done to alleviate this issue.
Again, help needed.
