had nelio content activated on multisite primary site – it kept coming back to life when attempting to deactivate using option to clean database and deactivate –

    it did ‘temporarily’ deactivate

there is a bunch of left over stuff in the database from previous version of the nelio featured image plugin in options and postmeta tables

not sure if causing problems though; but wish you hadn’t merged plugins…

    Hi!

Thanks for letting us know. If you clean and deactivate the plugin, it doesn’t remove the entries (in postmeta) from the external featured images – for some of our users those meta fields came from our previous plugin, and it didn’t make much sense to remove them from Nelio Content. I understand that this might be slightly confusing, though…

Now, regarding plugin’s deactivation. Was the plugin network-enabled? Did you try to disable it from the network admin or from a concrete subsite? If you could please detail your scenario, I’d be able to reproduce it locally and fix it.

    Thanks!

    Hi –

    thanks for follow-up.

it was activated on primary site only (not network activated).

I tried to deactivate with the ‘clean’ option and it wouldn’t deactivate; however deactivating ‘temporary’ did deactivate it

I don’t think it is causing problems – just wasn’t doing what it was supposed to (and tried to eat my brains)

    Hi!

Version 1.2.0 (February 1, 2017) fixes the issue described by OP. Indeed, there was a problem when Cleaning the plugin.

    Regards,
    David
