  • Thanks to all that responded, much appreciated but heres the situation. I am not a programmer, I do not write code, and I don’t have a clue about where this last version of WordPress 4.4.1 is located so that I can replace it. I built this website over 2 months by watching videos and experimenting with templates. That is the extent of my “web” – “programming” knowledge.
I guess I’m not sure what has happened. One day my site works fine, the next day it’s broke, without me doing anything. How did this happen? Who broke my (and from the chatter apparently other websites) website? Why is this now my problem to fix when I did nothing?

If there is someone that can explain how to repair what someone else has broken, in step-by-step plain English, I would greatly appreciate it. Don’t assume I know anything about code, programming, registries, widgets, architecture, hosting, directories, etc.

Thanks for listening and if you can help, much appreciated.

    Bensita,
Thanks. I went to ww.wp.xz.cn site and found rel. 4.4, the previous version, but couldn’t download it. There wasn’t an option for downloading just a description / explanation of why “Clifford” was used.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks for your time.
    Cheers,
    Dan

    Hello all.
I’ve got a similar problem in that just recently my page doesn’t load. I contacted my host and they said my page shows a “redirect loop”. They say:
Further investigation shows that wp-confing.php was update 01/19/2016, I also see that roamingourway.com is redirecting to http://www.roamingourway.com.
I’ve done nothing to the config of this site, just posted another topic.
Any suggestions on how to get things back to normal.

Also, sorry but I’m not tech savvy about this stuff so in plain speak if possible.
    Thanks much.
