Actually, further investigation shows that it it disables shortcodes within [eyesonly] tags on pages, unless they’re added to the whitelist. By adding them, I’m then permitting forum users to use any of the shortcodes on the list, which isn’t what was intended.

Thanks for your input.
I will continue to pursue this on with WPML – it’s too useful a plugin to let go of! As a temporary measure, I have resorted to pages with a Recent Jobs widget. It means i have no search or category capabilities, but it pulls the language-appropriate jobs and lets me still use the backend for management.

Yes, I’ve brought it up with WPML, and they’re going to take a look. Its weird – the page previews even work fine.
And thoughts on how I can force this to work temporarily or begin to trace the conflict?
