Had the same issue today. The reason is that WP REST API wasn`t enabled on my website. Everything worked fine until I updated WP and Instant Articles plugin this morning.
Try to check functions.php on some code that disables REST API.
You can check is WP REST API disabled in Jetpack plugin settings.
