Still awaiting your response. Please rectify this difficult position you’ve put my client in.
No, the event was posted by the client’s content manager, and I retraced that event post to rule out wrong date, any Hide options/functions etc. When I didn’t see anything amiss, and it showed properly as a stand alone page/event without showing on the calender, I put it in the Trash & replaced with a new event with the same info. If it reoccurs at some point, I can perhaps grant you a temp login to investigate further?
@tristan083, I went ahead and hand-entered a new Event, setting it for the 25th instead, and copied content off the defective (26th) event. It showed properly for me after I Saved it. I then went in and deleted the 26th event and changed the 25th (duplicate) to the 26th. It’s now showing in the Events calendar. I could only see a difference in the full address (zip code & country were on the new version) – that’s the only thing on the new event that I could see between the two versions. HTH, and thanks for the assist.
Correct — none of those 3 check-boxes are checked. And I had already looked over: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/why-events-sometimes-dont-display-in-the-calendar/ — none of those issues are present for this singular Event that is showing on its own page but not in the main Calendar.
Should we delete and re-post? Please advise.
Correction: That’s not the post in question @d0153 — the link was to: https://www.grrtl.org/event/40days/ as the event that isn’t showing up (see original post). Apparently the client added a new March event (named “Legislative Day” on the 18th), but it isn’t the “40 Days” event on the 26th that they’re looking to show on the Calendar. Please advise.
Wow. Just wow.
@ramilbatoy thanks for detailed response. However, your response is directly contradictory to the listed feature (on: https://restrictcontentpro.com/why-go-pro#find-out-more) of:

This shows as a check-marked feature of both Free and Pro (paid), and is the main reason (by far) that we went with Restrict Content (Free), as it states the basic email necessities of a membership setup are provided. As a nonprofit, having those email features was a main deciding factor to my client to go with Restrict Content.
Now you’re telling me “Those are all Pro features”? This is the very definition of “bait and switch”, as you are now telling me the attributes under Basic Membership Emails are NOT available to the Free account holders as check-marked, and that (in your words) “custom development or third-party plugins could provide similar alerts” and such features are “only available in the Pro version“(!).
Unacceptable. I now see why there are an immense amount of 1-star reviews. Please advise asap.
Thanks @d0153 — not sure how this Calendar event now shows — it’s not been showing for many days in a row, even after clearing cache on all levels and trying new & incognito browsers. Seems proper now, so I will let the client know, but that was quite bizarre. 🙂 Thanks again.
The page of info we were most keen on its features (as noted on the Why Go Pro? page) was the last item that was marked for both Free and Pro: “Basic Membership Emails”… which leads to: https://restrictcontentpro.com/tour/features/member-emails/ — this is showing Pro settings only — however, in our Free interface (completely different from the Pro screenshot on the link above), there are settings in an Emails tab on: https://www.mmtonline.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=rcp-settings#emails — all 6 types of Emails presented there have 2 checkboxes under their titles that start with “Disable”… I left ALL of them unchecked, since we DO want emails sent.
For example, the last item is:
Renewal Payment Failed Email
[ ] Disable for Member: Check this to disable the email sent out when a renewal payment fails.
[ ] Disable for Admin: Check this to disable the email sent to the administrator when a renewal payment fails. Please advise and clarify. Not having alert emails for renewal, failed payment, etc. is a fatal flaw when attempting to manage memberships.

In reply to: [Constant Contact Forms] Email: “Detected Constant Contact Forms issues”Ah, I see — the previous version didn’t auto-remove the plugin’s alert from the top of wp-admin once the reconnection was completed?

In reply to: [Constant Contact Forms] Email: “Detected Constant Contact Forms issues”Thanks @tw2113 — yes, I reset the connection as instructed, but the error message remained at the top. There was no Update alert for the plugin.
However, it appears the plugin has auto-renewed between submitting this support ticket… the plugin is at 2.16.0 now, and the error message has disappeared. Must have been the “fix” for the false alarm that remained?
@eskapism it appears the latest update (released a couple of days ago) has mitigated the issue with the Card Details field in e-commerce enabled forms from Gravity Forms. It doesn’t appear to be specifically listed in the Revision Notes, but that field is now visible when editing the forms in question once again. Just thought you should know… thanks for the efforts and a fine plugin.
Thanks @eskapism – yes, I reported it to Gravity Forms, and their suggestion was to do the entire Deactivate Plugins routine until the conflict was identified. That’s when I found that only Deactivating Simple History fixed the issue. It’s only been happening since the last update (stated to be “1 month ago”) if that helps in any way. If you would like to be granted a temporary login access to a staging version of the site to have hands-on access to the problem in process, I can put that in place for you. Just let me know.
Somehow, adding another Episode (#333) seemed to have “jogged” or dislodged #332 and it is now showing in the show’s Recent Episodes. 😮 Marking this as Resolved.
