I wonder if it’s possible to change the character that’s used as field separator in the downloaded CSV file. It’s a comma now, but I need it to be a semicolon. Any ideas? I really hope you can help!

oh I see what you mean. Sure, the complete shortcode is
[table id=1 responsive=scroll datatables_buttons=”csv” /]
and for another table, it’s

I’m afraid that’s not possible as the website is in developer mode and my customer is very strict about access permissions right now. Anyway, I have no special code used on my page, you could even check the code here: https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-buttons/
Maybe I wasn’t clear enough about what I want to do, so I try again: On the page posted above, how would you change the Button Text “CSV” to “Something Else”? Or maybe that’s not possible?

thank you so much, the custom command works great! 🙂 Besides, can you please tell me how I can change the text displayed in the button (e.g. “CSV Download” instead of “CSV”)?

thank you so much for the quick reply! I got a file named htaccess.orig here, is this supposed to be the copy of my .htaccess file?
I’m sorry, but I need to be sure that there will always be a copy of the .htaccess file (the one that’s used on the live site) included in every single Duplicator backup. Would that be the htaccess.orig file? In order to restore it, do I have to move it to the Server via FPT and then rename it to .htaccess?

I’m not sure I have understood how exactly to use the keywords. By hidden column, do you mean a column hidden via CSS? I’m sorry for bothering you, but I usually don’t work with tables.

thank you for your help. Yes, that’s what I want, but I do not want to have to define the color switch because there will be much more of those tables. Actually, I want to tell that table that row 4 and 5 belong together and should act as one row (I have created row 5 in order to vertically align the values in column 3 and the corresponding text in column 4). So, is there a way to combine the last two rows to just one but to keep the cells in column 3 and 4 separate? Sorry, I hope you will know what I mean.
