i am looking for a way to receive an email everytime there is an update. i am guessing this is impossible?

In reply to: How to get updates about wordpress updatesthanks for the advice. unfortunately, that is not an option for me. i use godaddy’s managed wordpress hosting platform and they automatically update the sites.
i am looking to receive a notification via email when wordpress will be updating the version. even if i could just get an email when they post something new to the releases category of the blog.
