In reply to: [Membership Plugin - Kadence Memberships] Login not workingI never resolved this problem, but I did devise a work around that works fine.
For those who encounter a similar problem: The solution wasn’t to deactivate other plugins, that had no effect. The solution involved never allowing subscribers to go to content restricted by this plugin until after they had signed in. I set up a page to act as a portal to all restricted content. Users were directed to the correct login page. After logging in, I used another plugin to redirect them to the restricted content.
This works for my website because there are distinct public and private sides, and one portal can serve as access between them. For this purpose, the plugin is now doing exactly what I wanted it to.

In reply to: [Membership Plugin - Kadence Memberships] Login not workingOkay, I figured out part of the problem. When users try to open a restricted page, the plugin is redirecting them to a login page on WordPress.com, not on the hosting service I’m using. I ported my website to my current hosting service from WordPress.com. I no longer needed it, so I deleted the WordPress.com site, but it didn’t fix the problem. I deleted and reinstalled the plug in, but that didn’t help, either. Now when users try to log in, they get a message saying that the WordPress.com site has been deleted.
Any help would be appreciated.

In reply to: [Membership Plugin - Kadence Memberships] Login not workingI deactivated all other plugins. It did not help.
Question: In the Restrict Access download, there is a set of php files in a folder named “includes.” They are “display-functions.php,” “feed-functions.php,” etc. When I installed into WordPress, I simply directed the plugin installer to the Restrict Access zip file I received when I downloaded it. Do I need to install these additional file separately, or something?

In reply to: [Membership Plugin - Kadence Memberships] Login not workingOkay, I understand that. But it has messed up the ability of users to log in who were able to do so before it was installed, and who are able to log in when I deactivate it. Have I done something wrong? Is there a setting I need to change?
