I am no longer actively developing or supporting this plugin, but may have some hints for you.
The wpipp_exclude_from_watermark functionality relies on the images being ‘attached’. I never worked out why this was important and sometimes failed, but to check you can switch on the debug mode and the output from each image will state whether it is attached or not. You may need to re-upload any that have become unattached.

Hi there,
Thanks for the feedback. There’s no technical reason why two watermarks are being applied on rotation, that’s a new one on me. Did you save the image with the watermark, then re-upload it or maybe is it being cached somewhere?
Apologies the site was down, I actually wanted to remove the premium download link so I can fully investigate the route of the issues, fully patch and test it, before releasing it again. The docs are back up again now.

Thanks for the follow up. I did look at this but encountered some technical limitations as to why this was not possible.
The issue is that the images are usually served outside of the WordPress initiation flow, so the plugin loads in as little of the WordPress core as possible to function. In respect of this get current user feature, I have yet to figure out an elegant way to get that to work.
I’m open to suggestions if anyone else wants to give a stab and provide some feedback.

You can set a ‘watermark only size’, which is a size threshold that it will ignore images smaller than this size. See the watermark wordpress image protect documentation for more details.
I’ve no experience with WP Retina, so can’t offer any assurance on compatibility.

No idea, you probably know more about nginx that I do. The plugin provides some rudimentary abilities to alter the rewrite rules, but it’s provided more for convenience than anything else.

As far as I am aware, the watermarked image should appear in google image search, depending on when the image is indexed. I haven’t had the opportunity to confirm this, so let me know what you find.
