remove_filter(‘the_excerpt’, ‘dd_hook_wp_content’);
remove_filter(‘the_content’, ‘dd_hook_wp_content’);

I have the same issue as @wethead:
“But now I keep getting a message that says,
To complete installation of the JW Player Plugin for WordPress, please click install ( BUTTON HERE )
and then when I try, I get:
Not able to install JW Player. Please grant write access to the jw-player-plugin-for-wordpress/player directory and visit the upgrade page.”
I too checked all directories including the ones mentioned and all are writable.
I too am running the latest version of wordpress 3.0.1.
