So i finally just used the english categories in the spanish page to try it, and it’s using the correct version of the article in the correct language now. ??? the setting uses english categories but it’s pulling the spanish post when loading the element. So the front end is showing the correct thing, even though the backend setup is not.

oh well it works.

no luck, it still only shows the english categories to choose from. 🙁 We are using the Twenty Nineteen template.
