Weirdly it was showing up as 4.2.2, but i missed the security message so I’m making sure all templates are updated across other sites.
From now on I’ll keep checking for updates! 🙂
Thanks for your help. I just managed to get it working.
With a-little patience I found the reason!
After deleting the above code “Which didn’t make sense” I was able to see the message from wordpress asking to run the latest security updates.
So all in all people, I would recommend for anyone in a similar position to run the latest security updates.

Thanks for getting back to me. I tried that and still nothing unfortunately.
I should also add this is what i have in my wordpress news panel:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘http’ (T_STRING) in /home/dr3wb/domains/drewbdesigns.com/public_html/wp-includes/SimplePie/Sanitize.php on line 403
