Here is the direct shortcode we are using. As you can see we have the content code just how you say to have it:

It seems that it’s showing “first sentence” and won’t go shorter than that no matter what we set the word limit to.

Thank you for your response! Unfortunately this is the code we already have in place and it still doesn’t apply. We did read about the quotes in another question, so we made sure to manually add those already.
We have it set to 10, but as you can see at the link we provided, the limit does not apply. Is there anything else we can do to get this to work properly?

We located the issue. It turns out the Yoast SEO plugin had gotten corrupted and was triggering a security/firewall type of response on the server. Deactivating the plugin did not work, we had to completely delete it and re-install from scratch. but doing so solved all of the issues.

Their claim is that it isn’t a server issue, so they are not willing to do anything on their end at the moment. We’re trying to get more info on the errors so we have more clarity of where the cause would be.

We just figured out what the issue is 🙁
Our host requires us to have the form set to PHP – it will not work if it is set to WordPress – it will not send the form at all, the PHP is a hard requirement. So is there no way for this form to allow attachments with the PHP setting?? We cannot use the WordPress setting so we’re not sure what to do?

We reverted back and that did not solve the issue.
So now the only other change seems to be the update to the most current version of WordPress. Has this plugin been tested with the latest WordPress Core update that rolled out last week?

We reverted to the Twenty Seventeen Theme and the Twenty Sixteen Theme and the issue is still present on both – no “Browse/Upload” fields on any theme. 🙁
Again, these fields used to be present and working great in this theme as it is until the update of the plugin this morning. So it seems to have been triggered by the latest direct update of Fast Secure Contact Form?
Is there somewhere we can download the previous version prior to this update to confirm?
