In reply to: [Collapse-O-Matic] Collapsing from the bottom of the foldIt makes two entries for h5 in this case, so the Table of Contents Plus generates two entries. See my page, on the top. I had to make the two titles different for that reason:
[expand title=”main.c config code” swaptitle=”main.c config code” id=”main_c_code” tag=”h5″] ….. text here <span class=”collapseomatic colomat-close” id=”bot-main_c_code (close)”>Read less…</span> [/expand]Plus, when I press Read less.. the cursor goes somewhat down, out of scope

In reply to: [Collapse-O-Matic] Collapsing from the bottom of the foldA very very VERY big smile! Magic!
This seemed to work as well, so there is must be little state here. What happens below the hood, like in three sentences?
[expand title=”main.c config code” swaptitle=”main.c config code” id=”main_c_code” tag=”h5″]
….. text here
<span class=”collapseomatic colomat-close” id=”bot-main_c_code”>Read less…</span>
[/expand]Thanks a lot!

In reply to: Free sticky/floating menu/button to the top of the pageI tested https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-create-a-sticky-floating-navigation-menu-in-wordpress/ with no success. The sticky menu was transparent above existing elements. Following the recipe to get that fixed was not successful. I have none of that functionality on test now.

In reply to: Max number of revisions (2)YESS I DO! Found it, of course!
I had erronoeusly noted the wp-admin.php file in my blog note, describing this, and then my brain was too biased to discover that in the WordPress forum post the correct wp-config.php is stated.
Thank you and blush.. (Fixed to 10, using the above forum post recipe).

In reply to: [Collapse-O-Matic] Going to anchor across pagesI tested by disabling Collapse-O-Matic. Now all browsers work as expected. They go to the anchors as they should. I had to clear history first for Firefox. Summary, to the best of my abilities:
Collapse-O-Matic Enabled Chrome ok. Safari and Firefox go to end of page. Disabled Chrome, Safari and Firefox are all okI will now enable it again, as I think its functionality is so nice. I just assumed the problem will be fixed in a future update. I’ll be glad to help.

In reply to: [Collapse-O-Matic] Going to anchor across pagesThanks for your reply. I wondered about the style of your reply, like I was describing a problem that did not exist. I checked now along another line, maybe it’s the browser?
I used Safari 13.1.2 on a Mac. It definitively does as I have described: The anchors are kind of not adherred to and the view goes to the end of the page. Not to the anchors when used from outside the page. They are of course unique. Some are made by headings automatically, but some I add myself. Some times with the id tag. Should any of those not be unique, of course I’d get to the first. I usually see that. But that was not what I was after.
However, I now tested with Chrome 86.0.4240.198 and it works like it always has (also for Safari), and like we both would have expected it to do.
I am sorry that I did not make myself clear enough. Even if I made a separate page with examples and really dis my best. It’s always a case with trying to be short and concise vs. long and wordy, when the first case doesn’t resonance with the reader.
Maybe the problem is Safari. But then, Firefox 28.0 behaves just like Safari! It goes to the end of the pages.
I’m not back to square one, since we know that Chrome does it. So, what’s wrong with JS code or WordPress code – or any of the plugins I use. I will try to disable Collapse-O-Matic and then compare. Stay tuned. I’ll update in the test page as well.

Yes it helped! Thanks, @mbrsolution!
But it looked like I had to add it to the CSS editor’s CSS text field (going to which file?), and that it did not help to add it in twentytwelve-child/style.css (that I use for lots of other CSS stuff and it works)? I did empty the cache. If my observation is correct, why?
Is it also possible to make it a “Full-width Page Template, No Sidebar” page?

In reply to: [Download Monitor] Layout of download page is too narrow (on TwentyTwelve)Hey, @hchouhan
Thanks! Very sure (now..) that it’s not your plugin! It’s from “Simple Download Monitor”. They both appear in the Dashboard under heading “Downloads”. I’m sorry! I’ll move it over there!

The quotes were right, not smart quotes. I opened it in a different editor and there were these ‘quotes’ on both. Same error. But then I took your advice and typed everything from scratch. Voila!
Thank you very much @sterndata

In reply to: Max number of revisionsThanks! I removed the child file and added that line. But I got this:
