    Hi Fernando,

    It was indeed the Currency Switcher plugin causing the issue. We manage to rectify it & all seems to be working fine now.

    Now just to get the site running smoothly….so many errors!!

    Thanks again,
    A.

    Hi Roland,

    I think this is feature of the plugin. Go to the plugin:

    Mailchimp for WP > Form > Settings > Hide form after a successful sign-up? > Yes/No

    You probably have YES selected.

    Hope that Helps!

    ——————-

    Lap,

    I am having the exact opposite effect. I have “YES” selected but the form remains on the page after a successful signup.

    The site is currently in development mode so you won’t be able to see it. Does it make a difference where the form is located – such as in the body or in the footer, etc?

    Thx,
    Anthony

    FURTHER UPDATE:
    I turned off all plugins and turned them all on/off one by one trying to work out what is causing the fault. Seems the fault lies with the “WooCommerce Currency Switcher” Plugin. I’ve left this one till last and haven’t turned it on again, so I can not say for sure.
    I don’t want to turn it on again because site ground support turned it off and then we got the backend (wordpress dashboard) back.
    Is there any testing I can do to test this without breaking the site again?

    Is it possible that the “WooCommerce Currency Switcher” Plugin might be out of date for the latest version of WooCommerce?

    Hi Chris,

    (I can’t help here) Just checking though if you have possibly just updated to the latest version of WooCommerce?

    What would be really helpful for the guys that can help is if you mention the version of WordPress and Woocommerce you are running.

    Thank you! On this page I’m not using page templates (if that’s what you mean).

    I was just wondering if it’s possible to make ALL slider images appear next to each other rather than beneath each other. Though I’m guessing this might be a (horizontal) theme feature rather than a plug-in feature.

    something like this on the page:
    image1>image2>image3>image4>image5>image6>etc (scrolling left to right)

    rather than:
    image1
    image2
    image3
    image4
    image5
    image6
    (scrolling top to bottom)

    I think i’m getting way off topic though. My head was just running away with my thoughts.

    Appreciate all your help.

    Hi Adrian,

    Thanks for your detailed reply. Future plans sound great – specially for us struggling artists 😉

    And thanks for the tip of using a percentages – it makes perfect sense.

    So basically when I use my images in a standard wordpress gallery, the theme arranges the images into a slide show with next/back buttons. (Ideally I would prefer a horizontal scroll with lazy load but I couldn’t get it to work).

    So I would like the before/after slider to work in a similar way, but I would need to use the gallery feature, which obviously doesn’t work. You have any ideas how I could make the images appear horizontally (side by side) rather than vertically (below each other)?

    Thanks in advance and all of the best with your future development with this plugin.

    Regards,
    Anthony

    Thank you Steve!

    Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to work. Also when activating Jetpack it seems to slow down my site. I’m starting to think that I have a very dodgy template installed.

    Hi…

    Thank you for the info… unfortunately i couldn’t add the javascript to the custom menu link in wordpress. I did get a brain wave though and used css instead.

    Just incase this could help anybody else:

    .site-navigation > div > ul > li.menu-item-has-children > a {
    pointer-events: none;
    cursor: default;
    }

    Actually scrap that….it distorts all my portrait orientation images on mobile!!

    actually think i figured it out using custom CSS:

    body.single .gallery-item img {
    max-height: 600px;
    }

    This only affects images used in galleries on post, while the gallery images used in pages are not affected.

    Hopefully it can help somebody else in future!

    Unfortunately that didn’t work and I can’t find the original css file where to make the changes!!

    This might be very obvious for some, though just incase anybody else need the solution – the CNAMES/DNS needs to be setup with the hosting company again.

    Managed to figure out that the CNAMES have stopped working. Does anybody know what could possibly cause this?

    I’ve been using that plugin for a few days now and still finding my around it. Just found what you have referred to and hopefully I have entered everything correctly now.

    Thanks again! #legend
