The problem was an open anchor tag in a custom block that preceded the footnote.
Hi @prismtechstudios, thanks for the reply, and sorry I did not get back to you earlier. I discovered an error in my code that had nothing to do with your plugin. MF works beautifully. Ive tried many other footnote plugins, and yours is the best. Thank you.
