Thanks for the suggestions. Dmd54, you were right on. I was able to upload the theme through MAMP and didn’t need FTP. Thanks!
Thank you dmd54. I checked the link you suggested but I have already used MAMP to set up the localhost for WordPress. I am having difficulty in using Filezilla to upload the new theme to the wp-content/themes directory. Not sure why the connection keeps timing out.
