The dev is not interested in keeping this plugin current it would seem after 5 months of inactivity.
He does offer it free which would explain the lack of enthusiasm however if you do read this please contact me to work out a financial incentive.

Same issue for me, it appears it’s not currently compatible with WP 4.7

I figured out the issue and of course it was something very simple.
Forgot to add the initial shipping weight to the unit weight I needed.
Your plugin rocks btw!
