I’m also looking forward to see this feature.
I’m having this problem,too.
I use “shortcode” and “function” both list disappear soon.
I tried other favorite’s function only “User Favorites List” have problem.
The latest plugin version and WordPress 4.8

I have the same problem.
It seem to conflict with W3 Total Cache.(WP plugin)
WordPress 4.7.5 with traditional Chinese language.
