I had to take everything down and reinstate a backup from before I updated Woocommerce, and then I started all over.
I did the update again and it worked well with the table rate plugin I had been using before, and then everything fell apart when I reinstalled an Image SEO Plugin (SEO Image Toolbox).

This is the only way I have figured out to get customer to see their total order cost when they checkout, because the rates for different areas are different based on distance from my shop. Suggestions as to a better way would be appreciated.

I have 6 zones set u apart from the ‘rest of the world’ one, and each of them has multiple shipping methods, all flat rate as this is what I have always done.
What happens at checkout is that only the first zone shows up no matter what location is selected, and only the price of the first shipping method is applied to the total order cost.Here’s a screenshot of my checkout page https://snag.gy/7RUW8B.jpg
Note how even though the cart subtotal is NGN2,000 and the shipping method chosen is NGN1,500 the order total is still NGN2,500 which reflects the first shipping method for this zoone which costs NGN500.Screenshot of my shipping zone settings https://snag.gy/85LD93.jpg
