I had a similar problem with a different theme. Apparently, the existing panels are sort of a “default”. If you drag a new widget of the same type (in my case it was Stained Glass “Items”) it will replace the one that is there, and then you can fill in the attributes you want. It took me a while to figure that out. I was looking for an existing widget to update, but it wasn’t configured like that. I hope this helps. Good luck.
