In reply to: [Widget Logic] Should be ZERO starsKnow an idea alternative?
Rui,
Thank you!!
Works perfectly.
Resolved.
The option was:
Parent Link open submenu: NO (Choose if you want to open the submenu by click in the Parent Menu item.)
I also lose my slider, I’m unable to attach a pic, so i have a screenshot via this link showing a before and after:
I’ve paid too. π
I think unless I set this up as a members ticket, it’ll be ignored here indefinitely…
I will do that and report back with an answer to what they say for you (or anyone who has this problem).

In reply to: [EventCalendar] Invisible block above event pageI simply removed the video link and embedded my own as a fix.
Actually it’s a plugin clash as works on my test site.
Many thanks! – issue resolved.

In reply to: [EventCalendar] Invisible block above event pageI found the issue – but still not fixed: It’s the Youtube video link.
You enter a video link and you get that invisible box.
This plugin is incapable of fetching any youtube clips (3 min long as well).
Why? π
Ah ok, Understood.
Many thanks for getting back to me.
Sure, let me show you:

A 5 star review well deserved.
Guys!
Got it working!
it was the Event Submission Templates.
Admin email – Event submission notifications will be sent to emails added here. If left blank, no emails will be sent. Separate emails with commas for more than one email.
for some damn reason, it was left blank. Check ALL these fields are correct to get it working.
Hey there,
Actually I am having the exact same problem – I only realized I’ve never got the email notifications working for this plugin…
I have been on with my host provider for over an hour, reviewing the SMTP email settings within the email part.
No matter what, they just don’t work at all.
Every other plugin works where I get a notifications from when users complete an action.
I use a SMTP server, and done the best of my ability to enter the correct details in. Also, no error logs record anything about this. almost like it’s not the email (my side at all).
Also: what mailbox actually sends the email over to me?
Any suggestions why this plugin doesn’t work for email notifications?

I sent the email to the only contact form there I could find by your link.
Do events still show up wrong after resetting your timezones? = Yes, no matter what I do, it’s all pushed 8hrs forward.
I just tried that locally and it worked for meβ¦ the times of your events shouldnβt change, the main difference now is we store the UTC equivalent time of all events in a different field. =
This has caused a huge issue for me. WP and EM are all set to Taipei (which is UTC+8).
There is a connection between this bug and the city i’m in. It is appreciating i am in Taipei which is UTC +8, and simply pushing everything 8hrs ahead anyway.
why this is a bug? Because I have everything set to Taipei in my WP and plugin. yet, still causes an issue.
Please help me π
“…But as Marcus said, you should really set both your WP settings and EM settings to your time zone”
but in my wp settings, it is set to Taipei (UTC +8) and in the EM plugin, its also set to Taipei.
But it still forces every event time to be pushed +8 on whatever I set.
Taipei is UTC+8 but as stated, it still pushes it +8 anyway.
what am I missing? Note that it is users / customers hosting events and getting messed up and confused, even thinking it’s them and redoing the events as if it’s their fault, but it’s this damn plugin…
any help here guys?
