Regarding your widget question: I have one widget that appears on the static Welcome page sidebar only. Also, I have to use the Search widget in the sidebar to cover up some of the items WP inserts – the words “Archives” and “Meta” keep showing up if I don’t cover them with the Search button. Thus, on most of my pages the only thing in the sidebar is the Search button. I would like to add more to each page’s sidebar. Did I explain that well enough? I didn’t state that well. I meant that without the visibility button I would not have been able to do the type of website I wanted to do. But Jetpack exists, so no worries.
