This is what I observe in the error log at this moment (after updating to latest versions)

[Wed Nov 13 10:16:19.036388 2024] [error] [pid 980754] mod_proxy_fcgi.c(911): [client 66.249.66.194:0] AH01071: Got error ‘PHP message: PHP Warning: Undefined array key “nl” in /data/sites/web/axvecocom/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-multilingual/inc/class-wcml-cart-switch-lang-functions.php on line 91; PHP message: PHP Warning: Trying to access array offset on null in /data/sites/web/axvecocom/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-multilingual/inc/class-wcml-cart-switch-lang-functions.php on line 91’

I received an update from WPML to update to the newer versions of their plugins WPML Multilingual CMS 4.6.14 and String Translation 3.2.15 in advance of the release of WordPress 6.7. These three updates were performed at midnight last night automatically and seem to have updated successfully

I tried the “Update Translations” again and now it gave a different error “Download Failed – Bad Gateway”

So I am still in the unending loop but now with this error – how do I resolve this?

    Thanks for your help

    Hi Stef,

The shop page in woo causes a system crash due to incompatibility with a common theme such as ENFOLD Child. This is documenten in multiple posts including in the woocommerce support forum. I even get the error when I try to edit the shop page.

    There are two solutions proposed:

1 use the “Disable Cart for Woocommerce” which disables both the cart and the shop page

2 add PHP code to the theme “functions.php” to trap the call to the shop page and avoid woo opening its shop page.

My request is therefore – what PHP code should be added to functions.php to avoid the system crash when woo opens its own shop page

    Can you follow this?

    Alex

This is the problem I still have. LearnDash support were helpful and investigated my site but concluded there was no solution ie you can’t use Polylang and LearnDash for multi-lingual support!

I would like to see more about the workaround and know when polylang can fix this

    Alex

I have the same problem. we have installed the new LearnDash multi language plugin and we already work with WooCommerce and the Polylang for WooCommerce plugin which then requires the Pro version of Polylang

Now LearnDash creates the course but the URL for the Lessons and Topics is generated without the word Lesson or Topic and clicking on the lesson or topic generates a page not found

We also have a message posted that the LearnDash pluging requires PolyLang but does not say it also workd with Polylang Pro (required when you use WooCommerce)

Now we are stuck and cant get multi-language working
