In reply to: [Collapse-O-Matic] I can’t get the blue blaster box around my textI am, but where do you define this? In the same shortcode or in the wordpress element or in the settings for collapse-o-matic? Is there documentation on doing this?
Thanks!!

In reply to: [Participants Database] Adding more precision to decimal valuesWell, that was easy! I just made a simple change, like you mentioned, saved it, and voila! It worked! Thanks.

In reply to: [Participants Database] Adding more precision to decimal valuesIn order to save the decimal field again, should I save the field type as something different and then back to a decimal? Or is there another way to save my field type so that the change will take place?

In reply to: [Participants Database] Adding more precision to decimal valuesThanks for the instructions. I downloaded the zip and then I uploaded it into my plugin. I can see it (it is activated) but I do not think it is working with 8 digits past the decimal (as indicated in the code).
I don’t think I set it up properly to my particulars as I’m not sure how to do that. What step did I miss? How do I match this plugin to my Participants Database plugin data types?

In reply to: [Participants Database] Adding more precision to decimal valuesThanks, that makes sense. But, I’m not sure how to implement this plugin. Do I insert it into one of my folders? Or somehow make it a new plugin?

In reply to: [Participants Database] Auto-populate textbox with existing database values?Sounds cool! I’ll have to get around to checking that out soon!

In reply to: [Participants Database] Decimal fields keep resetting to integer fieldsHaha, that’s simple! (Not sure how I missed that one…)
I assume I no longer need the step count (like step::000.00000001) and no longer need to tell it the precision and scale?

In reply to: [Participants Database] Scroll bar for too many columns?Roland, this is working great for the front end on the web (wordpress page). But on the backend (or really the middle end? middle middle?) on the admin page (List Participants page), there is no scroll bar option and the page does what it can to squeeeeeeeeeze all of my columns into one small area. Is there a way to add a scroll bar there?

In reply to: [Participants Database] Including an indicator for required fieldHaha, that was simple! Thanks for pointing that out (I’m not sure how I missed that one…)

In reply to: [Participants Database] Scroll bar for too many columns?Wow, I think that did the trick. I’ll play around with it some but it’s way easier than what I was doing!
Thanks!

In reply to: [Participants Database] Scroll bar for too many columns?Hi Roland,
Thanks for the reply. When you mention adding custom CSS, is this best handled in the WordPress interface > Dashboard > Participants Database > Settings > Custom CSS and then somewhere in there?
Or is this best managed in one of the php files and editing the php code? By the way, I am using php-list-custom.php as my main file in a custom template like you mentioned in one of your articles on your site. Thanks!
Hi thanks for the response. I will post screenshots of what I’m seeing in an email to you to describe things better. In any case, I try to check on a checkbox and go to update fields. When I check again, the check box is not checked on. This happens for all check boxes to where I almost feel like there is a limit of how many checkboxes I can check on.
I see empty records when I import my data after a successful import. I have tried clearing all filters but still do not see data. And when I export the CSV again to see it, there is no data in my CSV, just column headers. When it has a successful import, it says 40 records imported (which is the size of my sample subset). Is it possible that the column headers are case sensitive?
That’s weird about the message. When you say Administrators and Editors, do you mean WordPress Admin and Editors? I am an Admin on my site so it’s weird that I am restricted this access.
Thanks for your reply and I’ll get a couple of screenshots put together in an email.
